QUALITY CONTROL

 Since 1960, Ashley’s Quality Control Department has been qualified per Mil-1-45208 of the government standards manual. As Certified Suppliers, Ashley’s high standards of excellence in production and Quality Control are well recognized and documented throughout the industry.

Ashley currently maintains quality systems approvals by Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Vought Aircraft, Kaman Aerospace, and Cessna Aircraft. In addition, Ashley’s quality system is ISO 9002 compliant.

Ashley Machine & Tool is approved for heat Treat (Mil-H-6875) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (ASTM E-1444) by the U.S. Navy Department; Magnetic Particle Inspection (KPS 208) and Brush Cadmium Plating (Mil-Std-865) by Kaman Aerospace; and hot forming of aluminum alloys (GSS 5300) by Northrop Grumman.

NEW MACHINERY

Ashley Machine & Tool has added a Brown& Sharp DEA Scirocco NT CMM to the new inspection area. This state-of-the-art CMM has measurement capabilities of 51” x 157” x 39”. The system has direct CAD interface of CATIA and Unigraphics models as well as for IGES

NEW INSPECTION AREA

Ashley Machine & Tool has added a 2,500 square foot climate controlled inspection area completely equipped with conventional inspection equipment and CMM’s.
